FAQ
On average, OneHealth's plans are 20% to 40% less expensive than the ACA marketplace while offering more extensive coverage.
We have 2 network options, with 8 deductible plan options under each network:
- Cigna, a preferred provider organization (PPO) plan, which offers a large network of healthcare providers you can use for your medical care
- PHCS, a reference-based pricing (RBP) plan, which pays claims based on established rates for medical services
No, you do not need to have current coverage under a medical plan in order to qualify for coverage under OneHealth.
For individuals or businesses with fewer than 10 employees: Once you apply for coverage, your information goes to our underwriter, who reviews your application for eligibility and to find the best rate and plan available for your needs. You’ll then receive a quote via email, typically within 24 hours, with your rate and deductible options. Our Benefits Concierge Team is available to walk you through your options before you enroll, which takes just a few minutes via our online platform.
For businesses with 10+ employees that apply for coverage: OneHealth will email you a census form, which will go to underwriting for review. You’ll then receive a quote and proposal from us within 4 business days. From there, we schedule a quick call to review the proposal and determine next steps.

A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a type of tax-advantaged savings account that individuals can use to save and pay for qualified medical expenses. HSAs are typically associated with high-deductible health plans (HDHPs), which have higher deductibles (the amount you pay out of pocket before the plan starts covering costs) but lower monthly premiums than other plans.
OneHealth offers 2 high-deductible health plans that qualify for an HSA: The $3,500 HSA Plan and the $5,000 HSA Plan. (The $7,350 Value Plan is NOT eligible for HSA contributions.)
This can only be done during the annual plan renewal period or within 30 days after a qualifying life event, such as a birth, adoption, or the dependent’s loss of coverage. Please contact our Benefits Concierge Team at (877) 881-4584 to add a dependent after a qualifying life event.
Businesses that submit an employee census for underwriting have 60 days from the submission date to enroll. After that, we require an updated census to complete the process.
We must receive a completed termination request form.
